This picture shows a 69c Rolls Royce Silver Shadow with a wheel oops. The hot foiled chrome plating failed to be applied properly. An oops that has been pictured several times in this years oops update. Photo sent in by Nokrybabies on the Forum, Thanks for sharing Nokrybabies. |
Another photo from Jason Coker (Nearlymint) from the Forum, This one shows his 54b Cadillac S&S Ambulance that has the 'C' pillar missing from the casting giving this Cadillac the hearse look. Thats the second one now, Scarey. Thanks for sharing jason, Very nice. |
I'm fairly sure this is a Kingsize model, A K4 Leyland Tipper with a bad case of tyre oops, I would think not enough plastic was injected into the molding machine resulting in this partly formed tyre, Photo courtesy Bob (HotWheelsBob) from the Forum, Thanks for sharing Bob. |
Made during the very early colour change period when the very hard to find white was replaced by the much more common cream, Mike (Mike&Nico) from the Forum sent me this photo. Thanks for sharing Mike. |
Fintail from the Forum sent this picture of his 30b Magirus Deutz Crane with a hook oops, The hook faces in the wrong direction, I have seen others but this is far less common when you consider how many vehicles are fitted with hooks. Thanks for sharing Fintail, Nice error, Great condition too!. |
This is the first of three errors to the same vehicle, The photos of this 36c Opel Diplomat were sent to me by Johnny (Johnnypimp) from the Forum. The first picture shows either a factory error, or less likely, someone has been tampering with it, But what exactly is the white tube coming out of the rivet hole, It looks like it is part of the interior molding, Very strange indeed. |
They also botched the silver trim on the grille. where's quality control when you need them?. |
Next the window unit was not fitted. But I can't help wondering if this was not some kind of trial piece, Johnny if you see this can you compare the paint coverage with another Opel. especially around the lower edges and under the bumpers. |
This 3c Bedford Tipper has had a metal flow oops in the quaterlight frame caused by low metal flow or maybe it was dirt or a blockage in the dies. Photo thanks to Rodger (Tractorboy) from the Forum. Such a shame to find an error on a vintage toy as nice as this one is. |
