Lesney Matchbox error pieces 2015
or, the oops hall of fame 2015.


These were all submitted to me in 2015 and are shown here in no particular order, Most are from Forum Members with a few borrowed from ebay and elswhere, These could not have been compiled without your help so a big thank you to all of you that submitted the photos,


This photo was sent in by Forum member Tony Godsey who no doubt saw several refuse truck pictures with extra wheels trapped inside the cabs that were sent in by other Forum members, Not to be outdone Tony sent in this picture with TWO trapped wheels, Thanks Tony.

Another plastics oops, This time the plastic window unit is missing completely but it does have a piece of sprue which is left over from the window molding, Thanks to Forum member Linus for sharing, Cheers Linus.  photo linusplastic_zpsxspoertv.jpg

This one was sent in by Numi our Lady collector from South Africa, It shows a piece of molten mazac which dripped into the casting when this rare green 30a Prefect was cast, Thanks for sharing Numi, An excellent oops if ever there was one.  photo numicast_zpsufz5hk6n.jpg

The Foden sugar container truck is well known for wheel errors but this one has several different size wheels so was probably assembled after a long pub lunch, It was sent in by Forum member and friend Reg (fixer), Thanks Reg.  photo fixerwheels3_zps2ofc2arp.jpg

Another wheel error but this one is quite attractive as it gives this 37 Coca Cola Bantam the nose down look of a funny car, This one was sent in by Forum member Fintail, Thanks Fintail, Very nice indeed!.  photo fintailwheels_zpskohka0ag.jpg
