or, the oops hall of fame 2015.

Now for an oops that is rarely seen. This 55c Mercury Police Car has the plastic interior fitted the wrong way around leaving the Police Officers peering out of the rear window, Not to mention the badly aligned label on the bonnet (hood). This one is part of the Jason Roper collection, Thanks for sharing this super find with us Jason. photo 55_police_car_interior jason roper_zpswpctz3sf.jpg

Plating errors are fairly common in the Models of Yesteryear range but maybe they are not so common on early issues like this one which has one rear wheel brass plated and the front wheel in bare mazac, It was sent in by JJ of the Forum. Thanks for sharing JJ. photo jjforum_zpsjoa5gwnr.jpg

From Forum member John (Matchboxmodels) comes this extremely low riding 21b Bedford Coach, This low riding stance is due to the baseplate being fitted in upside down which makes for an interesting oops, Thanks for sharing John. photo johnmatchboxmodels1_zpsc89qeaqr.jpg

This number 9 Fire Escape has had a piece of molten metal drip onto the escape wheels, Which is technically called 'snot' by collectors, These snot affected pieces are quite hard to find, This photo was sent in by John (Johmboy) from the Forum, Thanks for sharing John, Nice error. photo john-johnboy9a_zpsxqwprqlu.jpg

I'm not sure if this box is suffering from water damage, Sun damage or if it is a printing error, I err towards the 'its the printers fault' myself but I have a few more pictures like this from the same source, More later. Photo courtesy the internet. photo eb5_zpsyie3ah2m.jpg

I think we may have a double paint error here, Not only is the silver trim missing from the grille but also missing is the red paint from the seats which is quite an unusual error and one I don't remember seeing before. This one was also sent in by John (Johnboy) from the Forum, Thanks again John, What a super oops. photo johnboyseat_zpsnolrhbwg.jpg

Luckily this 33a Ford Zodiac wheel error does not spoil the car too much. These two colour Zodiacs are pretty hard to come by at the best of times. This picture was sent in by a Forum member who's details I don't have, If you contact me then I will update the credit information for this picture. photo DSCN5667_zpsbwnvbr2n.jpg

This very unusual number 61a Ferret Scout Car has had the baseplate fitted the wrong way around and it makes you wonder why these are not found more often. Photo courtesy Rodger (Tractorboy) from the Forum, Thanks for sharing Rodger. photo rodgerbaseplate_zpsij6r8fmv.jpg

Matthias Zogg from the Forum sent in this picture of his number 44d Boss Mustang which looks like it completely missed out on the black paint to the bunnet (hood), Very nice Matthias, Thanks for sharing. photo mathiaszoggnpb_zpsarcc0r8x.jpg
