| Welcome to our Dinky toys price guide. We have 6700 photographs & variation descriptions for all of the Dinky models produced between 1931 and 1980 for which we have to thank Bryan Goodall of Vectis Auctions for permission to use the Vectis back auction catalogues and allowing us to compile them into this guide. All models are included except for a few very common later issue and a few rare early issue which neither one has been auctioned by Vectis so it has not been possible value them and to include them here. Individual human figures and things like the individual roadsigns have not been included but sets containing them have, Also with some items that have not been auctioned by Vectis have had their values estimated by comparing them with the price that very similar items have sold for or by valuing them by dividing the selling prices they realised when being sold in multiple item lots. Note also the estmated selling price given by Vectis which is usually very accurate when compared with the actual selling price which can sometimes be extra high due to two or more wealthy bidders desiring a particular item and pushing the price higher than it would normally sell for. |
