Lot 3567 Dinky Toys - November 19th, 2008 Pre-war Dinky No.33 Mechanical Horse and 5 Assorted Trailer Set containing - No.33A Mechanical Horse in red with black smooth hubs, No.33D Box Van Trailer "Meccano - Engineering for Boys" in green, black smooth hubs showing very minor fatigue, a few damp induced fading around edges of box, transfer is Mint, Box Van is Excellent, No.33B Flat Truck in green with black smooth hubs showing fatigue but Excellent, No.33C Open Wagon in violet blue with black smooth hubs showing significant signs of fatigue and No.33E Dust Cart in yellow with pale turquoise blue tin top showing some fatigue else Excellent and No.33F Petrol Tank Trailer with plain red tin top, green base and smooth hubs. Tin top is Near Mint, base showing fatigue and Good Plus. All have white tyres and are in correct yellow inner card stand showing "150 Varieties" which is Near Mint in Excellent blue grain box with large coloured label to top and yellow label to box end. Lot 639 Dinky Pre-war - January 27th, 2004 No.33 Mechanical Horse and Five Assorted Trailers - set contains - Mechanical Horse - red; Open Wagon - yellow; Dust Wagon - yellow, opening door; Petrol Tank - red Tank on green Flat Trailer, "Esso"; Flat Truck - green; Box Van - green, "Hornby Trains" (wear to roof) - contents of set all have black smooth hubs, white or black tyres and coupling hooks and are generally Good Plus to Excellent considering their age and rarity. All contained in an Excellent green box with green chequered lid and yellow end label. The lid has a colourful illustration of contemporary Dinky Toys (box insert is repro).
