Lot 3454 Dinky - January 28th, 2009 Pre-war Dinky No.50 Ships of the British Navy Set - containing No.50A HMS Hood, No.50B HMS Nelson, No.50C HMS Effingham, No.50D HMS York, No.50E HMS Delhi, 3 x No.50F Broke Class Destroyers, No.50G X Class Submarine, 3 x No.50H Amazon Class Destroyers, No.50K K Class Submarine - all as originally strung to base of box. Ships do have some fatigue but generally all complete and fatigue generally minor - overall condition is Excellent in Near Mint box with coloured pictorial label. Lot 1676 Dinky Toys - October 14th, 2008 Dinky Pre-war Set "Ships of the British Navy No.50" - Boxed Set contains HMS Nelson, Hood, Rodney, Delhi, York, together with 3 x Broke Destroyer, 3 x Amazon Destroyer, X Class and K Class Submarines. The set is complete with the exception of HMS Effingham. Some may lack their wire masts and others show slight signs of fatigue but all are complete and the contents are generally Fair to Good, being loose in their early blue box which has a colourfully illustrated label to the lid. Lot 2552 The New Jersey Collection - May 14th, 2008 Dinky Pre-war Gift Set No.50 Ships of the British Navy containing No.50A "Hood", No.50B "Nelson", No.50B "Rodney", No.50C "Effingham", No.50D "York", No.50E "Delhi", 3 x No.50F "Broke", No.50G "X" Class Submarine, 3 x No.50H "Amazon". Most showing little signs of fatigue although some bowing is apparent in the smaller ships, overall although a little dusty generally Good Plus to Excellent in Good to Good Plus box, with all ships strung as should be to box base. Box lid has repair to one side but coloured label is clean and clear. Unusual to find a Naval Set with so little fatigue in the ships. A few Ships show varying amounts of fatigue and 3 have broken in half otherwise contents which amount to 14 Ships in total are Poor to Good Plus and are contained within a Fair to Good card box with Good Plus colourfully illustrated label to lid.
