Dinky Pre-war No.28/1 Trade Box for 6 Type 1 Delivery Vans containing 6 Vans all with Dinky Toys cast to underside of cab roof, including - No.28A "Hornby Trains" - yellow, "Hornby Trains" in gold with black outline and "British and Guaranteed" in black, dark blue washed solid metal wheels - two minor paint chips to roof else Excellent Plus. No.28C "Pickfords" - royal blue body, "Pickfords Removals and Storage - Over 100 Branches" in gold, blue washed solid metal wheels - some paint loss to front of one wing and radiator with minor tarnishing - overall Excellent Plus, beautiful bright example. No.28C "Manchester Guardian" - black cab and chassis, red back, "The Manchester Guardian" in gold with black edging, blue washed solid metal wheels, a few minor blemishes - Excellent Plus. No.28D "Oxo" - blue body, "Oxo Beef at its Best" in gold with black outlining, dark blue washed solid metal wheels - very few blemishes - Excellent Plus, another superb example. No.28E "Ensign Cameras" - orange body, "Ensign Cameras" to one side and "Ensign Lukos Films" to other - both in gold with black outline, dark blue washed solid metal wheels - Near Mint, wonderful factory fresh example. No.28F "Palethorpes" - pale grey blue body, "Palethorpes Royal Cambridge" and Sausage logo to sides and "Palethorpes Model Factory Tipton" on rear. Transfers are in red and navy blue, dark blue washed solid metal wheels - a few minor blemishes to paintwork on one wing - else Near Mint - superb example. All contained within yellow Trade Box with original internal dividers. Trade Box is Excellent. Only the second example of this complete Trade Box in original condition that we know has been offered to the market in recent decades. A quite superb set. VERY VERY RARE.
