The Y10-5 1931 AEC Diddler Trolley Bus was released in 1988 as a special Limited Edition of 60,000 pieces. It was painted red with an off white top deck and central dividing band. The roof was grey plastic and the trolley poles black plastic. Unusually it had a full set of windows but for the downstairs rear window and a mid brown interior with a black baseplate which was fitted with dark brown push fit hubs and rubber tyres. The Diddler was adorned with decals for Ronuk wax polish and Jeyes fluid and to the sides of the front destination boards were adverts for Johnnie Walker Whisky. Both sides of the lower deck had gold 'London Transport' tampo and the Trolley bus emblem and the destination boards on the front and side were for '604' to 'Hampton Court'. It had a chromed centrally mounted headlight and black sidelights mounted above eack front wheel and It was packaged in a special Limited Edition box. The Diddler was assembled from approximately 35 parts making it one of the most complex Yesteryears made to date.
