Matchbox King-Size No.K-3 Massey Ferguson 165 Tractor and Farm Tipping Trailer

In 1970 the Lesney Matchbox King-Size K-3 Massey Ferguson 165 Tractor and Farm Tipping Trailer replaced the Hatra, The Massey Tractor had a red body with a grey engine and a white plastic grille, The windows were green tinted and it had black & white 'Massey Ferguson' labels to the sides of the engine cover. The Trailer had a yellow chassis with a red tipping body and a white plastic eye would connect it to the Tractor, Both the Tractor and the Trailer were fitted with yellow plastic hubs with black plastic tyres. The early trailers are quite hard to find as the first versions had a smooth trailer floor while all of the later ones had a textured floor, The model was packaged in F type window boxes, It was replaced by the 'Mod Tractor & Trailer' in 1974.

Matchbox King-Size No.K3 Massey Ferguson 165 Tractor with Tipping Trailer - red, grey, white, yellow plastic hubs with black tyres - although overall condition is generally Mint to Mint, outer window box is Good Plus (although has been professionally recellophaned at some time) - still displays well.
