Lesney Matchbox King-Size K-3 Caterpillar Bulldozer joined the range in 1960, It was painted yellow with a red or dark red engine, The rollers could be bare metal or red plastic and it was fitted with green rubber tracks, The rubber tracks were bought in from an outside contractor and proved to be quite expensive so to offset some of the cost the model was not enhanced with silver trim or decals, Unfortunately the rubber tracks will harden and perish over time, Replacement tracks are available but will need to be cut & glued or the dozer blade will need to be removed to enable them to be fitted. This also means that there are fewer mint caterpillars around when compared to some of the other models in the range. It was packed in C and D type boxes and in 1965 it was replaced by the Hatra Tractor Shovel.
