It seems these models often end up with bits broken or missing and a few that I have, were no exception. So, I set about to repair them.
With a bit of copper wire and good old JB Weld epoxy, I was able to make, a new turret for the 54a, a new trailer hitch for the 62a and a new boom tip and eyelets, as well as a hook, for the 64a. the models are still in primer but I am thinking of painting them up in the RAF color of the 73a Pressure refueler.

They look great - though I’m not sure about an RAF armoured car...

Very nice work, they look great. The RAF did use armoured cars but did they use personnel carriers?

They look like they could belong in a gift-set, perhaps with a transporter carrying a plane or helicopter

Some nice handywork there Gene, something I am famaliar with but not on small models like Matchbox, I work on the larger Corgi, Dinky sized models so I do admire the guys here working wonders on these small models and bringing new life back to some of them.
