The WOW factor - as you come in the door

The 8th of February 2016 was the day i completed my Parts Works Aston Martin DB5 James Bond scale 1/8 model.
Its wheels are a custom 3D Printed job I was lucky to order from another collector who had redesigned the wheels to be more realistic.
Made some photos and it was just another day for me as Mum was in the hospital into her 5th week for the same backpain that brought her into hospital 3 times in the past couple of years.
I had just finished my nightshift and planned to see her in the early evening as I had done every day.
Around 4.30 pm Dad woke me up as it wasn't going well for Mum. Rushed to get dressed and then got that dreaded phonecall that Mum has passed away.
For the next 5 days time did not exist. Despite the bereavement leave went to work in the weekend. Too soon.
On the 15th Mum was cremated. the next day i was very ill until Friday.
All the stress appears to be gone.
Very strange feeling as what normally would annoy or frustrate me just doesn't.
its rather pleasant not losing my temper all the time, I'm certain it must be one of the phases.
In the meantime The James Bond Aston Martin DB5 has inadvertently become a shrine.
My regret is I wasn't able to show the photos to Mum.
kind regards,
Richard k
