At last I have had the chance to take a picture of a Ford Transit with an open bed as per 66e.

On display at the Aston Manor Transport Museum in Aldridge, West Midlands. This one is a very early example, made in 1965.

reminds me of the mk1 transit van on an old building company I worked for in the 80's , the driver used to polish it so much he polished out most of the sign writing and wore the paint through to the primer in a few places , if you ever got a lift in it you had to cover the seats and floor with dust sheets and remove your footware

You've obviously never heard of Mr Sid "Ghosthunter" Norton then. I hear you have to wear a surgical gown and mask to sit in any of his vehicles.

...and the path to each car is laced with rose petals. The Bloodhounds have to salute me as I walk past them, or they know they won't get their weekly serving of Caviar and Bonio biscuits...

Ghosty.
