I like Corgi-Toys because of their play value.

I totally agree. That set was a fabulous item, Corgi thinking on their feet, another favourite of mine. Thank's Stephane for bring it here.

I loved this model. To me it was an accurate representation of the real car and with such delightful working features. I spent Hours pretending to be that Guy in the Garage in that artwork, it really caught my imagination.

A few year ago I have collected this

Fox's model above is a good example of why I like Corgi...they were innovative. That set was effectively eight models in one box. I probably would have a few Corgi models in my collection if the examples found in the States were not almost without exception badly worn, overpriced, or both.

Just recently I have acquired a couple of the Corgi Green Bentleys with the racing number on the grill..They really are tremendous models..I paticuliey love the copper coloured exaust pipe that sets this above many of the rest.
