Ouch...what do we have here? What a fantastic find Idris....well done! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :D
This surely is the find of the year for u as RW prepros & trials are almost never seen,unbelievably rare and out of our reach to many.
I too have a Mud-Gray specimen with casting flaws like yours,just have to find it.
Congrats and do enjoy this great find :D

Just to clarify, the casting flaw appears to be the result of a minute piece of the tooling breaking off. It is therefore later models (from Nick Jones variation code 3 onwards) which have this flaw. Earlier models (Nick Jones variation code 1) have crisp castings in the affected area. I have one variation code 2 with the flaw, and one without, so giving a clear pointer as to when the damage occurred.

Heres the flaws i mentioned (front of windscreen) and also has similar flaw as yours under the front bumper.

Is this casting with or without the flaw behind the rear left mudguard?
