Alex the the cream (smoke) tinted model is mine (zBret's) not Mike's ;) , somewhere in along the post line, you wandered off the trail
Anyways.. I do appreciate the comments posted.

As I recall I bought this model from somewhere in Canada, so perhaps it spent many years in a smoke filled Moose Lodge
( no offense intended if you belong to a, Moose Lodge)

Even though it didn't leave the factory in this color, I rather like the patina it has taken on, and as I have other 41c models I won't be taking any hot soapy water to this one.

I'd really like to see a pic of a genuine cream 41c, if anyone has one to post.

zBret
I support zBrets opinion. :D
I would also like to see a cream model.
:?

Thanks Johnboy.
Very difficult to detect a difference.
Just as with my models. :?
And even with the zBret models.

One to look out for Mike. I don't have one, but it sounds like it might not be an easy one to see on ebay because the difference is small and you have to allow for discolouration and the effects of the camera.

Hello Mike you may be correct, here is a photo of my 3c Mercedes Benz Ambulance, in three different colours.

Also the Mustang 8e is only listed as White and Orange, but I have a cream coloured one you can see it in this group quite clearly.

Just a general remark: cigarette smoke can make any white paint turn cream. I have several such models which were originally white, and I am not aware of any way to return them to their original colour.

So with any cream "variation" of a model which is usually white, I always think it has most probably been discoloured by a smoking environment.
