Doesn´t make it easier - thats a reason to leave the tow hook where it is.

On this model only the body and axles are original Matchbox.
The door, wheels and labels came by Modelcarparts.
The chassis was made in a 3D-Printer.

As a very collectible model it is fabulous. As a restoration it is wondeful as it has allowed an old model to be very displayable and presentable.

How far away are we from seeing a fully produced 3D printed model, regardless of it being based on a matchbox or similar model!

I always clean them and soak them in oil for a few days then they look quite good.
