I bought these from 2 local collectors last week, not expensive! The 403 reminds me of Columbo´s ride!

They are Timpo figures haggling over bargain cars! They make me smile and are usually positioned by the most interesting car in the lot.........motorman wrote:Mick i have often wanted to ask you the significance of the 2 Arabic looking gentleman that appear in all your images?

Getting to the markets and individual tables and then picking up the most desirable models is very much a race in this town with one of my competitiors being Dr Jazz and all of us racers then sell the surplus in online auctions so its not hard to identify with the haggling arabs !motorman wrote:Nice one Mick. Thats because dealers who stand at Beaulieu like myself, go round on the Friday morning before we set up and get all the bargains!! Sorry!!SMS88 wrote: Yesterday I spoke to 2 Swedish toydealers who attended the recent Bealieu autojumble and they said there is now an unbelieveable amount of useless modern junk being sold in the UK and the few items that are worth buying seem to be offered at above ebay prices. They just enjoyed the event as an event not a buying experience!
