Just got this box of rare gems I never expected to have in the post today from a member here (thankyou kwakers )
I have never seen one of these US SF blisters before except online, and it makes a wonderful contrast to the Euro/Canada version ,artwork done from toys rather than photos of real cars as on the Euro version. Getting an aqua MB bus is one I always thought would be beyond my pockets and the red seats bpw Victors seem to all have gone to USA as they seem to be impossible for me to find in europe.I saw one red seats Victor way back in 1973 but had to wait until 1997 before I bought my first one, shown in the stack of 6 different variations here -still need green seats with spw....

I am very glad you like them Mick! That 1969 wheel error seemed right in your interests and specialty on early SF wheels. I never thought of a U.S. blister being special on your side, so I am glad that it's a nice addition to your displays over there. Our U.S. side saw both the U.S. and Canadian Blisters, so I guess the European version would be the tough style to find over here. Most of my SF Blisters have been packed away for 25 years like Antonin's. Maybe some day I will find my early original hand written cataloging that we kept on all their variations. If not, it may take my boys several more decades to sort through them. The SF assorted wheels, base colors, window colors, labels, paint combinations and interior colors were enough to drive we Regular Wheel collectors nuts back in the early seventies. No wonder I am still not right....... kwakers

Re: New in my collection !
Baseplate colours on pre 1973 SF were fascinating particularly because they all came from usused stocks of RW paints except for charcoal shades which were a mixture of whatever paints were left plus black. Most have now been well documented however US blisters while similar to the 1968-72 RoW + Canadian designs are always the ones exclusively produced for the NYS Bronner operated packing factory as far as anyone has ever proven so far......
