It's all relevant!
I had an idea previously that I might buy up these very old models, restore and sell on, but now I realise I can't let go of my "babies" and there's probably not any money in my restorations anyway. I bought this on ebay for £32 + postage. Decals were £14. Paint and other materials: not sure, but several pounds at least. If I sold it for £70 (probably optimistic) I'd make maybe £25 profit after fees etc. That's less than a pound an hour! I suppose one of the things that's great about restoration, apart from the enjoyment and challenge of doing it, is you are "saving" something for the future. A bus in a condition like this one was in danger of being thrown out I suppose, but now, it is likely to survive well beyond me!
