First thing I looked at Bob - those thin wall lugs !! Would have been a great find painted yellow. Jason, you need to meet my mate Brett as he loves those horrible bare metal models and has stacks of them in his collection. I'm always of the view all these bare metal ones were just nicked from the line and never assembled by anybody, just a load of magpies picking up bits to take home.

When I was a kid I used to collect the bits and pieces that could be picked up outside the factory gates in Lee Conservancy rd. I was going to assemble my own toys but I must have picked up thousands of bits but never found two bits for the same car.... :(
I wish I still had them today.

Hi Mick, just out of interest I have the plated versions with both thin and thick wall lugs I am sure. But I do not have any yellow ones like this yet.J

Plated examples are well known in both styles. I've never seen a painted one with the thin walled type. This means Jason will find one at the weekend!!
