Been in contact with Ebay today. I can sell internationally when I have a feedback of 10!!!!!
Kwakers, it took me 2 days to convince them to lift my listed quantity limit from 10 to 30!!! Apparently already having a business account with 5000+ items for sale doesn't mean much to them.

LOL

Had a message this morning on Ebay. Some dealer has offered to buy my whole collection for £1000, maybe £1500 if its good stuff!!!!

I'm still thinking about what to reply....

Well we're off to a poor start!! Best sale was for a Super GT at just £5.50 . 3 mint Superfasts sold for just 99p each!!! But anyway, they all gotta go. A couple more ending tomorrow, but due to work commitments it'll be a week or so before I can list anymore.

Congrats on the #69. That was cheap too. I was expecting nearly double what you paid!

You need more than one picture to attract bidders, and you really need to have them end on sunday evening to get viewed by the maximum amount of bidders.

I'd normally agree Nick. Except the mint #33 Muira that sold for 99p had 3 pics, while the #45 Ford super GT had just 1 pic made £5.50!!!
From my Experience of Ebay, the day doesn't make a difference. As long as they end between 7pm & 10pm

Not sure which member it is, but they' called me Tim??? (Its Ste btw) sent m a message in Ebay stating they were unable to see several of my items, so there's a few niggles to iron out with the new account.

i thought it would have cost me more too , ebay is strange hade a few on the other week superfast #22 Pontiac only made £2 and a red superfast mustang 99p both playworn but presentable
maybe people are a bit worried because its a new account :?:

Ste, I won the super GT, TBH i did expect to have to pay more for it though.

It might be that its a new account thats putting people off, but I cant see why. I think youd probably do better if youve got, for instance, 50 super GTs amongst your various boxes, id be pulling em all out & selling them all to finish on the same day. Ive generally had better results selling that way rather than having a mix of eras.
And having said all that a mate of mine had some early carded juniors finish last sunday and one of em sold for less than £4, I had 66 loose loose juniors (Buicks & M/Benz, mostly mint - NM, with a handful of crappy ones too) finish on the same evening, some didnt even get a bid at 99p, so its not just you thats struggling.

ebay seems quite lately.
