Moko was founded by Moses Kohnstam at Furth in Germany in 1875. They had business links in Britain and soon set up an office in London. They were Wholesalers and not involved in the manufacture of toys. The toys sold as Moko products were made by smaller companies that did not have the facilities to to market their own products. Moko sold toys made by Lesney and were eventually bought out by Lesney in 1959.
