liquidating part of my collection - advice wanted

Hey everybody - I am getting ready to sell a large portion of mint/boxed regular wheels. I live in the USA, and I currently have over 500 MIB regulars, Kings and Majors, and I'd like to reduce this number by more than half. I'd like to give you guys the first crack at it, but would like to see if the current international shipping prices are a deterrent or not.
I plan on asking market-correct prices. I really don't want to go through an auction site/house for these. So, what do you think? Would shipping costs be an issue for those of you living outside the USA?

Not for me,if it is something i really want i will eat the postage as i am sure you will be doing it at cost plus materials.

Thanks Bill.
All proceeds are going towards either a 1:1 Series 1.5 E-Type Jag or a Lotus Exige.

Not for the kind of items I'm after. It's import taxes and duties that would be an issue for me (hint, hint).

Let's just say I would like to keep all shipping and handling costs at a level that works for all of us.

Shipping not a problem from a seller who knows how to ship properly and not at some inflated rate just picked at random from a postal service charge sheet.
PS don't go for the E type - they are crap in the wet but oh so nice on dry roads and has 'posing' power.

Moyboy, I'm afraid practicality is never going to be a consideration should I buy the E type! I've wanted one from the age of 4, and the wife supports the idea.

Try for a bigger engine if I remember rightly the 1.5 was a bit sluggish on the hills and would take 2 mins nought to sixty..

I know what you mean 66. I sold mine many years ago much to my regret when I see what they fetch now. My favourite car though is still that Mk2 Zodiac convertible - not in the same class as the E type but had a certain something about it and the women liked it LOL
