Casting #64

64a Scammell Breakdown Truck, issued 1959, length 64mm, box types B-C and D.
64b MG 1100, issued 1966, length 67mm, box types E and F.

The three different fixing pins used to fix the hooks to the crane jib, A Biff rivet, B a Dome Head with crimped end, C a Dome Head with riveted end.

The different hook lengths 18 mm and 20 mm.

The only external variation on the 64b model is the size and # of treads per wheel.

My first MIB Matchbox was a 64b, but I sold it off when I was a teen (mid 90s) and looking for money more than collections.

very nice models, the blue and white 64b MG 1100. Is there any difference (wheels, interior, baseplate, body...) between the standard green models and the prepro?
