Ken Wetton Model

Did anyone else notice this unusual Ebay listing last week?
According to the accompanying blurb, it was built by Ken Wetton who, as we all know, used to be the master-model maker at Lesney. However, apparently, it's not a Lesney bitzer: it uses the Solido Berleit T-12 cab, on a custom built chassis, with custom built mid-section and the rear engine looks to be from a tractor!
The model was given to the seller by Ken, back in the early 80’s, as they both collected model fire engines. Length is 10”, and height 3”.
So, my question is, did Ken do a lot of private/commission work like this? (TBH, if he did, then it strikes me as being a bit of a busman's holiday.)
