Trying my hand at restorations

Being winter time, I have had sometime to try doing a couple restorations. The Jeep was just a repaint, and the Hatra loader was put together from two junk ones.

Thanks for the comments. I have a few more to do, but trying to match paint is hard, and new decals are not avaliable for all models. I like restoring ones that are in really bad shape, like these two were. Not sure what is next, but I will find something.

A couple of good models there Bob. The Hatra does look good, very factory finish to it, you should do a few more heavy equipment models to keep it company.

If I do another piece of heavy equipment, I hope it doesn't have a loader on it like the Hatra. I took all the pins out of this one and took all the arms and bucket completely apart, to replace broken pieces, not fun!

once you started to restore models you wont stop again :-)
