Spent some time reviving a very tired cardboard display. Very happy with the result. All of the piece just slide in. Did not glue or attach anything so if the next owner wants to do something else they can.

I will have to do something the same Tom. Shame they dry out and crack on the folds.

Hello Tom,

A very nice Major Pack and Accessory display you have preserved in a rather clever way.
You can now enjoy this setup without the fear of the shelves or models falling and deteriorating further. Good job.
Love the A4 road signs with the card display base (plinth) and the A2 blue transporter with decal and bpw, this I prefer of all the A2 line-up of models.

Thank you for showing your handy-work, I never tire of looking at such displays.

Bert

That's a neat job, I love these old displays too. It's great that some still survive considering they must have had such a short life expectancy. I daren't think about the number that were slung in with the rubbish :o

John,
Unfortunately, very FEW of these type Displays did survive, but here is another one that did! Lucked out on it several years ago on Ebay.

Tom: Great job on the restoration! The board frame outline is a super idea while still retaining the original integrity of this great Display! Well done!

Thanks Bob,
3 different but similar displays
1961 USA catalogue shows the one with 5 steps and the 1962 catalogue shows the 1 with 7 steps.
So the 1 with 6 steps must have been made somewhere between.

Does any -one have more displays at home ?

I never knew of the other two displays. Neat stuff. Thanks for sharing the catalog photos.
