I have been corresponding with the seller of this GPW 6a this morning and, after some discussion about its pros and cons, she has told me that the model was bought from Eric Jonkers for £100. (Apparently it was listed in the wrong category and she was the only bidder.)
I have informed her that it is, in my opinion, a fake.

Hi Hugh, spotted it last night defiantly a fake, the wheels look too good for the model, axles a bit too long at back. I suppose somebody will buy it. Pete.

I agree with Pete, definite playware miss-match between the wheels and the rest of the model.

That does indeed appear to be the very same model. (Don't shoot me! I'm only the messenger!)
What is also interesting is that the current owner bought it using a different Ebay ID. (The anonymised version of her Ebay name as a buyer shows as a***u, yet there is no 'a' in the Ebay ID she is using to sell this model.)

I noticed that, the buyer and the feedback encrypted ID's are different. But I have seen this many times before over the years (even with my own ID), and I don't have much faith in the way the ebay system handles this.

Hi Pete and All, Kwakers here.....By using non-mint models the potential novice Buyers do not inspect these fakes very closely, assuming they are just original play toys freshly "discovered". The model sells quickly at a cheaper price with very little questioning of it, so the Seller continues on with other non-mint questionable models to offer.
When a rarity appears brand new Mint as you have suggested, veteran collectors are always put off by it, and immediately suspect the model has been faked. Those "Mint rarities" bring added scrutiny to both the Seller and the model they advertise, and hence they get analyzed as closely as this 6A Dump has by our Forum members.
As time goes on, Fakers become more talented in their trade, so Posts like this are reminders to be very cautious when making collection decisions when the models are not available for in-hand inspection. Kwakers

Hi all, i am very wary what i buy now especially if its called rare or hard to find. The trouble with buying off of eBay is you can't see it but you have always got the protection of PayPay but it is such an effort returning stuff. There is a lot of fake stuff coming out of Europe we should all be wary in what we buy, if it looks to good to be true it usually is Pete.
