A solution for loose tires

Post by Miller »

I found this 3 mm wide self adhesive black tape, which is used for flip charts. A layer or two around the rim and the old tires will fit tightly. I ordered a roll and will show the result.

I posted a german offer, but i guess, that something like this is worldwide available. Just look for flip chart accessories. These strips are available in 1,5 and 3 mm width.

What a perfect solution for securing veteran (factory) stock, but very loose Lesney tires. They get so troublesome to keep on our Tractors, Trailers, Stalwarts and Hatras for display that even I as kind of a purist was tempted to glue some of ours on with a clear glue. This idea will work much better without damaging either wheel or tire in the process. Thanks for showing us this one..... :D kwakers
