Neither the NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (second edition) nor the AIM's “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983) list any variations not already covered by Nick. The same is true of both Stannard and Houghton, although the latter does note that the pale blue MW issue (Nick's variation code 12, Houghton's variation code 30a-9) has a gloss black baseplate, this information being missing from both Stannard's and Nick's listings.
U.K. Matchbox did not examine the model.

There is a lot of colour variations, I have mentioned it yet and the photo is on the Nick´s side. There is one unlisted variation by very late models (blue variation), with long post. Please note that I am refering to the "dashboard" post and not to the front "radiator" post.
