Greetings from Germany

Post by Miller »

Hi Group,

my name is Roland and i´m a Matchboxholic!

Thank you for having me here! After some years of absence from this hobby due to movings and to less room for it, i decided a few weeks ago, to get the boxes out of the attic and "play again". It all started with this...

Dont worry - 80% of my toys are called "playworn", so there aren´t big losses here!

First step - ordering and rating of whats there.

That was the moment, when i searched for a source for informations and i stumbled over Nick Jones wonderfull website.
As you can see, i mainly collect regular wheels, transitionals and kingsize, but also other makes can be found in that boxes. I have a big Mercedes modell car collection and this also will leave the boxes in the next time.

I installed two showcases and began to fill them with some Accessoriepacks and then beginning with A1. Well - the nice thing about Nicks website is, that there is a wealth of informations, the bad thing is, you run out of room for all these variations once you get infected with this virus! So thank you Nick for endless hours of researching every fugging single beater! :D

So the challenge went on...

While searching the website and this forum for answers i found out, that here are a lot of wellknown names in this forum. Some years ago I´ve been a member of an american forum, but after a while i didn´t feel comfortable there anymore. So its good to see some known "faces" here.

Your first three posts have to be individually approved (just so we're certain that you aren't a spammer of some kind). From no. 4 onwards, you're flying solo!
