The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (second edition), AIM's “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983), Stannard and Houghton do not list any variations not already identified by Nick.
U.K. Matchbox did not examine the model.

I have a recollection of a member (Joe?) posting details of a very early casting variation to the braces above the rear axle on the all-yellow model, but have been unable to find the thread. Can anyone confirm and post a link?

I have taken another picture of the early base with smaller braces, also the left model is an all over orange/yellow not yellow which is also unlisted(but very hard to photograph). J

Nice find with the small braces Jason. I have one that is an orangey/yellow but with the red shovel.

My red shovel also has a "orange" tone.

Nice spoted John, I have found the same variation by all yellow/all orange-yellow models, as Jason mentioned it.

As I have checked my yellow models I have found another small casting variation:
a) flat slot
b) slot with a reinforcement
