In a change from normal practice, the following analysis is based on Antonin's variation table which Nick has already said he will adopt.
The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (second edition), the AIM “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983), and Stannard do not detail any variations not already covered by Antonin.
Houghton has two additional variations: 51b-2 (orange hubs with grey tyres) and 51b-3 (red hubs and black tyres). I think most of us would regard these as pre-productions, although the fact that the 50b Tractor exists with orange hubs might be seen to legitimise the orange-hubbed variation.
U.K. Matchbox did not examine the model.
