couldn't make my mind up about this one
the casting is damaged to the front ,the base shows signs of being tampered to the rear but around the rivet looks good

I also spotted this one. I didn't go for it because it is the later body casting (with the strengthening either side of the tow hook). I suppose that means that it could still be a colour trial, but a pre-production it is not.

obvious prying damage to the rear of the base, and I would suspect the front damage to be caused by the device used on the opposite front corner while the base was being removed.
While teaching myself about fakes and fakers, I made a RW gold and a SF blue one with little difficulty.

I have never seen a factory 12c with a rivit so deeply filled with paint. Suspect base was drilled off original model and rivit post glued in here. If it was a genuine pre-pro or colour trial I would expect ivory not white seats and no damage to rear tongue and front bumper looking like its been gripped in a vice

I agree with other members that it doesnt look legit, too many tell-tale signs of being post Lesney.Window shows signs of what appears to be a crack (left rear).
A modellers dream for inclusion in a scrapyard diorama.
