Selling my collection

Post by RacingFreak »

Hello everyone.

I haven't been on here for really long time

Anyway, lately things haven't been going well for me. Now I need to sell off my collection, well atleast part of it (I don't really want to sell the Rover 3500's!). I guess the best way is to reach out for your help here. I know, some models I never shared here for which I'm really sorry, but I really never had the time even to post a pic or two of them... unfortunately I also have a kind of deadline to do that, so about less than 1 year from now on, which is shame personally, because it was really hard for me to get many of these models, but I guess I will keep most of these for myself.

Here's an unspun rivets Ford GT. White body, black England base and wide dd10 wheels. My only explanation is that this is one of the few sample models the factory here received. I have few others and they also have Made in England baseplates. I'd like to know if there are known another models like mine existing?

Lastly, I'd like to know for how much I could possibly sell it. I can't find anything like it ever sold on vectis. I'm not sure if eBay will be a good way to sell it, but I will appreciate if you can reply here or send me a PM! Thank you! I will try my best to get more models posted the coming days :)

Ebay is a good place to sell it if you put ´´unspun rivits`` in the listing title - i havent seen one of these from the 2 pack era before unpsun so its rare probably £50+

Thanks! But it seems eBay has less activity these months, perhaps in March it is better time to sell models or I'm wrong? I recall someone mentioning that。

March is always the best time of year to sell but for the last few years it has probably been affected by the economy.

For vhtf properly titled one week auctions ending on a weekend evening, for cars like this ebay is a good place to sell on these long winter nights as long as the many deep pocketed high rollers get a chance to see it especially in the gift giving season before folks have been sated with holiday gifts and snowed with holiday creditcard bills, and as far as March goes with it being the run up to the end of a tax year, I would expect it to be a worse time to sell than now.....
