A few Matchbox items for sale

Post by godsey1 »

I am going to be listing a few of my Matchbox's for sale here. I hate to do this, but I have an opportunity to get a small company started making and selling t-shirts. I need to try and get some money to help with the start up.

First up is the tan Magirus crane. If more pictures are needed, just let me know. I did end up putting a little bit of 3 in 1 oil on the axles, but they still have just about all the rust on them. $1675/.00 shipped anywhere in the world.

Next is a dated 1966 dealer display. It is in really good condition, with just a few minor flaws here and there. I did re-string the elastic bands, as the originals were coming apart, the bottom has a small strip the has been sun faded, and the edge has a place here and there that has been dinged (but nothing major). $725.00 shipped in the US , actual postage cost to the rest of the world.

The last picture shows some tape residue, I'm guessing that is what it is. Please ask any questions. I will leave this up for a few days before they go to E-Bay. I will list a few more in a couple days. Payment by PayPal only. This is hard for me to do, but I want to try and get this side job. Thanks for your time,

Tony

Hi Tony

Wow nice stuff :-) do you have pictures of the Tan crane? Your prices are fair, but a bit much for me at the moment. But good luck.

The crane has been listed on ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Matchbox-tan-Ma ... 153wt_1157

I started it out with a high BIN, with their system accepting any offer of $1750.00 or more. I will honor anyone here that wants it for the $1750.00 on here. I worried about doing a regular auction that I might not get close to what I paid for it. It will be insured for the amount it sells for and also have signature required, and tracking. At this price, I will just barely break even with all the fees and shipping.

Sorry to go off topic Tony, But can someone tell me if the 30b crane always has "German Crane" on the endflaps?

Both my boxes have this "German Crane" text on the endflaps.

All the luck with your sales Tony!
