The Bedford TK cab is another one which used to be common even here in Austria, but is a rare sight nowadays.
This one carrying a Fiat Multipla is on display at Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey.

The particular example shown above, is a very late, 1980 or possibly 1981 'TK', which was replaced by the 'TL' during 1981.
The traditional nose panel 'Swage-Line' was removed, it uses the padding panels around the grille and headlamps and it had very large nose mounted 'Griffon' badge as used on the big Bedford 'TK'.
The registration is puzzling, but it may have been re-registered during restoration, unlikely to be original! This is a much rarer beast than your average 'TK' and thank's for posting the picture Christian.

Most likely a later cab used to restore an earlier truck I would think.

Its all about road tax free status in the UK for vehicles registered before 1.1.73. Some folks who have V5s for scrap vehicles registered before 1.1.73 have unlawfully swapped VIN plates onto the same model but built after 1.1.73 - that could be the case with this truck!

That would make sense since K reg is 1971/2.
