It was later issued in colours called Matador red and Bombay ivory as part of the Matchbox 40th anniversary series

Hi Wolfie, when I was secretary for our local model club I used to go and collect the new issue models for club members from the model shop.

I had to collect 24 models but we only needed 18 but when I opened the box there were 20 of these Brown models with the Brown Stripes.

May be most of them came to Sydney Australia, then sent on to Perth.

I love Chevrolet Bel Air, I love all american big cars from fifties and sixties. In my opinion the most beautiful cars were made ​​in the fifties and sixties in America.
