a seller had these two gems for sale...as with my buying these days i got them dirt cheap

#6 quarry truck with white hydro sleeve..i was the only bidder

#44 GMC refrigerator truck without the door stop...two bidders...took me a while to find this variation

Nice finds Dan! I had begun to lose faith on that 44 without the door stop even existing till you have now shown us yours. The Dump with that white hydro-sleeve should have the earlier lug nut front dished wheels on it. The black friction sleeve came in later as the dished wheels without lugs were starting to be used.
Did you notice that the entire Dump body on the 6C looks very much like the one on the Superfast model you have behind it, other than their front cab protectors are much different. Are they close enough to each other in dimensions to have used part of the old dies, or is that just an illusion? kwakers

Nice finds "eagle-eye" !! Those are a couple of models that one can look at HUNDREDS of models and not find...........

thanks Dick...yes the #6 has the early lug nuts wheels...i think its an illusion...the tippers are very different...compare the #6 to the #28 mack dump truck
