Another New Major

Just added this beauty to the collection. Close to one of the best boxes I have in my collection now. Had to pay a little more than I wanted but now that I have the model I can justify the cost based on the condition. Need to find a nice 2A Bedford Ice Cream Truck now to go along with this 2B Bedford Tractor & York Trailer. Still need to find a "LEP" decal model as well.

Thanks for looking! John

Dave, I am anxiously awaiting your PM. I only have 5 Major Packs now but hope to have double that by mid-year. I am always looking for high grade models and hate the bidding wars on Ebay. I am always willing to pay a little extra for high grade models but hate getting beat out by a $1.00 in the last second of an auction. A GPW variety is on my list but that one might take a while to achieve. My main goal is to have a nice representation of every model and then get into the smaller variations. Let me know if you have others as well.

John

Very good looking box and model. Majors are my favorite series (aside from early 1-75's).

Tinman, I am just starting to get into the Majors and am finding myself becoming more into these than I thought. The are a little larger and the detail is quite nice. I still hold the Yesteryear's at the top of my list but I think the Major Packs are running a close second.

Beautiful model and excellent box! The Majors are my favorite models. I have this one and the LEP version. I have the Walls Ice Cream w/GPW and am looking for a mint one with metal wheels. Again, great model and I would pay a bit extra for a nice Major with such a great box. Congrats!

Jay, Thanks for the kind words. Always willing to pay a little extra for a mint model. I have a chance to get another one of these and I just might. Would love to find the LEP in as nice of condition. I know they are out there but I just need to keep looking.

A very nice find. I really like the major vehicles because of the scale and details. They are hard to find in my area with the box but I do find them occasionally. Just picked up a nice M-9 interstate truck. One of three now.

Nice find

Greg
