Hi all,

First post.

Signed up last week, found forum through Rocketron Toys. I will have many questions, will keep them for later.
I have had a varied collection over the years, but my current focus is on Matchbox 1/75 for the year 1969, the year I was born.
I think I have picked the hardest year :| I also collect anything mini in diecast, any scale.

I have one Question for today, how common is the funny green colour base on models? I have # 41 Ford GT with it?

Picked this up last week, its ruff as is the box. it is one I thought I would never get, cost about 15 GBP.

Welcome to the Club, Forum, Scott and enjoy your time with the many collectors who are here to answer any question you might have. the 41 a SF model you mention with a Greenish base is fairly common.

Hi Scott

Welcome to the forum :-) We are many who would love that MG in any condition in our collection. And 15£ is cheap :-) see you around!

Hi all,

Thanks for the welcome and comments. here are a couple of my minis, I don't have to tell anyone what they are!

Hi Scott and welcome,

It is also worth noting that the white #41 Ford GT with Superfast comes with two distinct shades of green on the base. I have no idea whether one is more common than the other...I think both shades are also found on the red #41.

I like your MG in green too - I am missing both that variation and the F type superfast box, and would happily pay GBP15 for that!

Cheers,
Gavin
