Thanks Guys, I have been looking for a mint white Mustang for a wee while. Numi is correct as they are a bugger to find without paint chipping to the raised casting areas. This one is immaculate, the best i have ever seen so i am absolutely delighted.

That is a great example Alex, can you do a set of reference pictures of it, front, back, facing left, facing right, from the above and a nice sharp picture of the baseplate.

I had an idea for the forum about reference pictures, if we can all do the same set of pictures of our minty models, they can be added to a reference section or to the superfast casting show at their relevant posting, what do you think about this.

Not a problem Kevin but will need to get a nice bright day to do the pictures justice. I like the idea of a reference section for SF's, my only concern would be how a high standard of image/post could be maintained as a reference section should be of the highest quality and with all members being able to submit images (and quite rightly i should add) we could end up with a very messy reference section with a multitude of images of various quality and size. This would would be of no great value to forum members as a result IMHO

We should also consider that we already have a superb reference area with Nicks own website. If anything i would love Nick and Mick to be able to have the time to expand upon the SF variations already listed on Nicks site as this includes great images and extensive information on each casting and that is something that i personally would love to see more of and with Nick having absolute control over what images and written content appears will ensure that the highest quality of information/images is maintained with out too much effort.

If we submit our own pictures here on the forum, Nick can then borrow any he wants for his site/guide and members here who never visit Nick's site can see them easily.

It is all too easy to forget Nick's site even exists, as most collectors come directly here and miss out on his excellent pictures and valuable information.

With our own postings they can be seen by a wider audience and we don't have to force them onto Nick, waiting for him to add them/any to his site, he has enough to do as it is.

I am fully aware of the shortcomings of some members ability to get good clear pictures and to maintain this across several models, however, any member is welcome to try this but if they feel they can not provide those good pictures ask someone else to do it on their behalf. This will be tricky if they have the only example of a specific model but fail to get good picture of it, they can not ask someone else to do it!!
