Well, I’m definitely not young, but here’s my explanation for not offering a picture. I have a professional web presence, including photographs and publications. I’m keen to keep that entirely separate from my non-work life, so I don’t do twitter or Facebook or comment on newspaper stories - in fact, this is the only place I ever post anything. Perhaps I might be more inclined if this gallery was behind some sort of wall, but it’s not, so it’s easy for a search engine to match things up unexpectedly. It’s the sort of thing young people are warned about - what will appear if a prospective employer or colleague searches for you on the internet? Not, I hasten to add, that anything here is embarrassing or inappropriate in any way! But just think about the information that can be linked together - we know who’s planning to go to the NEC on Thursday and from the pictures and first names it’s probably possible to work out where one or two people live...ClOwY wrote:Dont want to insult or hurt anyones feelings but where are the youngsters![]()

I fail to see how anyone would be able to determine my personal home address from a random photograph and the suggestion that I will be going to the NEC tomorrow?DrJeep wrote:Well, I’m definitely not young, but here’s my explanation for not offering a picture.
