But to be honest, i don´t appreciate the encrypted names. When they still where visible, one could check the feedback and find out, if they are from the same area or if they dealt together before. Sometimes one yould find lots of feedbacks from the same seller and then find out, that all these auctions now are running again - typical for shill bidders. When their expectations weren´t reached, they officially bought the thing, canceled the auction and everything went on again. But Ebay loves shill bidders, because they raise their incomst.

This may not be the fact in Matchbox, but car part or especially alloy rim auctions are full with these %§!?%%§ Image
It is still possible to do all of that even with encryption, ;) ;) Shill bidders i admit are a nightmare

They did it to cover up the sellers buying there own items and swapping between several stores
Also hides true sales of the rent a space seller/dealer Pays x mo + little % $ per sale for 100's of items way over priced until they create a false market
mom/pop pay 18-25% + 13% on the inflated worthless shipping
When I had the toy store and had brand new items identical to several other (renters)knew there margins( 2x mine)virtually every item sold ABOVE MSRP but you could never see the true buyer or store
I would have to pay % for a reserve for expensive items or start @ $9.99 and risk it most times not even getting a bid because I did not pay to have it moved about the listings.
In the US they keep 100K MB listed daily but you cant see them, search more than 2K and they will be 40 % recycles to bulk up the count, you need a few tricks to see this as their software tries to catch you.

what about those that live off shipping?
several versions dealer $9.99 start + 9.99/14.99 shipping for every item, 1 win 1 ship ($8 car /ship $6.99/12.99) BS
dealer not happy with bids (quoted you actual combined) but now wants $8 + 3-5 ea extra car
or large dealer w/ many rental spaces that has been refered on here (claims cheapest) which is correct by $1 on 1 item (and I have tried to work with him)but buy 3 and look out $18 ship or $130 for the shipping on what I wanted, 3x as many cars arrived today for $25

some item/listing types are now 80% + ONLY rental dealers

I agree with "Motorman" the translation has mixed up the points "mmi" is making.

What I suggest for you mmi, try and make less points at a time to give the translator an easier job, OK.

Ok will try just a few lines so the app can change the language

have to agree with the shill bid and other tricks of ebay
been on epay since it was born it was a lot easier and you talked freely with the seller and other buyers , as it grew you could check the sellers/buyers history/stats which was intended to be open.... relevant and safer to buy in other countries
after 2000 they got greedy so in the interest of $$ they started changes
about 2010? they made checking on buyers and sellers harder by hiding their full info/id
this opened a place for sellers that rent listing space and create their own markets thru selling to self or other (stores) they control ,with no real sale to the public that is how ...YFE 1-10 false sells for $49-69 and higher while mom/pop cant get $9.99
or the reputable dealers $19.99

process this and I will continue
not to steal this europa post so if need be move this to a more appropriate link for more

Thank you mmi, that has worked, no need to move it, its relevant to the topic of how the Lotus may or may not be being treated for sale on ebay.

At least you have chance to know the winner name reading feedbacks if one of both seller or buyer had left one.
