Another one of my favourites was the Camaro with it's sliding panels over the headlights and 'Golden Jacks'. I see yours has a lone Rover wheel on the rear...!

Thanks again for showing some lovely models from my past.

Hi All

I've been picking up the odd single Corgi over the last couple of months and been intending to post pictures here. Having just won the lot below will give me the push to post an update.

The lot looks in good condition...usual single photo auction with minimal comments other than they have been displayed together since 1978......Photo's will be up in a day or two. Twin drivers in the Jag is interesting!

Cheers

Dave

So many of those above were mine and now sadly missed. The Volvo and Aston Martin TV tie-in cars are in really great condition and the Volvo will look even better once cleaned. The plated Jaguar E-Type does come with a driver from new so you are lucky in now having a spare!

If I have to spot the gems, I would point out the imperial with turned hubs, and the Mini Van with shaped hubs. The green Jaguar is a rela gem too for it's in mint condition.

I would really be interested in the Riviera. Did you buy it for your collection ?

Hi Fox

Thanks for the comments, I'm still learning Corgi toys so your observations on hub variations are helpful.

Yes, all will be staying in my collection....

Cheers

The Blue Riviera with those cast hubs with the flat footprint tyres is the real gem in my view and in the condition coming across in the pictures is superb, this will surely reward you if you sell this.

The wheels on your Riviera are usually the design fitted to the Chrysler Imperial, not the Riviera, so yes, as "Fox" says that is also a gem piece. The Mini Traveller with the cast hubs I had from new so I am used to seeing this one and does not make such an impact with me... :D

Nice additions as always!

If you get another metalic blue Riviera, whatever its hubs, let me know... :)

That's an excellent lot with some nice variants. The Rambler Marlin is less common with spun hubs, and that metallic green is definitely one of the best colours on the Jaguar.

The wicker Mini is an "intermediate" version, having the earlier casting but the later cast wheels.
