Yes Jason, the first one is with small towguide has white interior, the second one with white interior has base plate c) with no strengthening on the rear axle,

Nicely spotted on the base, I have not noticed that. My models seem to have a mixture of both bases.

Interesting to see how this shortlived model went through some last minute design changes. I wonder if the 1st version small tow guide can be securely hauled by the Scammel tow truck?

You are right Mick, you can take it to hang but not securely hauled.

Hi Antonin,
I have now added 2 models with white interior, one with small towguide and no base braces and one with large towguide and with base braces.
But both models do not have slot for base plate with tongue.

I have now added a red interior model with the small towguide, I assume they must have used up old bases. Again none of these models have the baseplate slots. J

finally got a K21 mercury cougar for my collection...and by great luck it has white interior

i check a couple thing from reading this thread

it has large tow guide

it doenst have a slot for tongue

the rivet when being assembled seem to crack the windscreen
