Tuesday june 30rd was the official opening (at 17.00) and what a great event it was.
Aprox 250 people atending and former 24 Le Mans winner Gijs van Lennep did put a model Porsche into one of the 112 cabinetsas the official opening ceremony.
I was already in the museum around 15.00 and stayed till aprox 19.15.
Spoke with many other collectors and the press as several press was invited too.
It was a great event and if this opening reflects the succes of the rest of the exhbition (till aug 9rd) it will be a huge succes.
I hope many collectors will visit so tell your friends about it.

It took 3 years to build the model of this former CITROEN garage in Amsterdam (the dutch Citroen importer) Famous building from 1931 from architect Jan Wils. This big model is made by Henk Versluis.

The father of Christiaan Nortier made a drawing of every Dinky he gived to Christiaan in the early 50ties. Christiaan now exhibit his fathers drawings with the models he got as a child.
