I'm a firm beliver in what I term "speculative bidding". Most of the time it's junk which gets passed on to the youngest stepson (whom I can then rib about also collecting Matchbox cars) but, every now and then, it pays off.
The best win to date is a 14c with roof cross decal for less than £10!
