You right Kurt, on the early models (both tan variations and the early silver models) the hook and jib were painted together. There is, I think, only one variation of the painted hook and jib on the silver model: thin hook with biff rivet. Or has anyone spotted another variations - painted dome head pin with painted thin or thick metal hook, or painted biff rivet with painted thick metal hook ?

Just to remember, there is one unlisted variation: jib with a step at the rear and thick brace on the round cross bar.
